We have seen a recently developing issue with the Lenovo Thinkpad laptops not being charged through the docking station when connected. To fix this, Lenovo has made available Lenovo Firmware drivers through the Windows Optional/Advanced Updates feature. Follow the instructions below to install the updated firmware.
STEP 1: On the windows search bar, type "Update" and open "Check For Updates" from the menu.
STEP 2: WINDOWS 10
Click the "View Optional Updates" link
then proceed to STEP 3 below. |

STEP 2: WINDOWS 11
Click on the "Advanced options","Optional Updates",
then "Driver Updates"
then proceed to STEP 3 below. |

STEP 3: Select (checkbox) any available Lenovo Firmware and/or System updates, and then click "Download and install".
STEP 4: Once the updates have completed, please shut down and power back up your laptop.
If you are still having issues with your laptop not charging, open a Report an Incident (Issue, Error, or Problem) ticket. Be sure to include your laptops OCCC Tag number.
