Assigning zoom scheduling privileges to others on your zoom account

Follow the steps below to grant a fellow SUNYOrange employee the ability to schedule ZOOM meetings on your behalf. 

Note/Prerequisite: Both users must be licensed for a zoom pro accounts. Otherwise you will receive the following message when attempting to grant scheduling privileges:

Request for a Zoom Pro account must be submitted by your manager. To request access please submit a ticket from the following link:
Request something New or a Change -(General Service Request)
Once the users have been confirmed with ZOOM PRO accounts, you can proceed with the following steps to grant ZOOM Scheduling Privilege to your zoom account:

 

  1. Log into my.sunyorange.edu portal.
  2. Select Zoom from the main portal page.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. On the zoom options page select “sign in”.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. On the left menu select “Settings”.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. Select “Meetings” from the top toolbar.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. Select “Other” from the left menu.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  7. Under “Schedule Privilege”, select “Add” next to “Assign scheduling privilege to”.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  8. Type in or search for the email address of the individual you would like to add. Then select “Save”.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
