VPN Ticket must be requested by your SUPERVISOR on your behalf.

This service applies to Faculty, Staff, & Authorized Affiliates.

VPN stands for Virtual Private Network and allows for remote access enabling users working at home or on the road to access a server on a private network using the infrastructure provided by a public network.  A VPN solution includes advanced security technologies such as data encryption, authentication, authorization, and Network Access Quarantine Control.

In order to access certain secure systems like Banner Admin, Onbase, etc...remotely requires a download, install, and setup of our VPN Client (Fortinet).

Setup and connection to SUNY Orange VPN is a self install OR it may already be installed on your college issued laptop. 

After your ticket is received by your supervisor and approved, you will be granted access and provided instructions on how to connect. 

SUPERVISORS ONLY:  Use the Submit Ticket button to the right to request access to VPN for your employee.
