Why is my Microsoft OneDrive not signing in?

If you can sign in to OneDrive online, but not on your computer, check for updates. If your computer is up to date, reset OneDrive. Resetting Microsoft OneDrive can sometimes resolve sync issues and reset all OneDrive settings. OneDrive will perform a full sync after the reset.

How do I not have documents sync to OneDrive?

One drive will sync EVERYTHING on/in your Desktop, Documents, and Pictures Folders.  One Drive will not upload anything outside of these folders. If there are documents that you would prefer not to be synced, you can create a new Folder on your C: drive. To create a Folder on the C: Drive, open File Explorer (Folder icon on the bottom of your screen), click on "This PC", then the "C: Drive".  From there, right-click in the main window, left-click on "New" and select "New Folder". This folder can be named whatever you would like and will not be backed up by OneDrive. Please be aware that if your computer ever fails, that all data that has not been backed up to OneDrive may be permanently lost. ITS highly recommends that data that has not been synced to OneDrive be backed up on an external drive/thumb drive. ITS is not responsible for data loss due to data being stored in files that are not synced to OneDrive. Additionally, ITS is not responsible for providing external drives or thumb drives as these are both outside our provided data backup model.
