Sharing Folders or Files in OneDrive

With your files in OneDrive file storage, you can share them with others, control who can view or edit them, and work together at the same time.

The files on your My Files OneDrive are private until you share them. Keep in mind that when you share folders with Edit permissions, people you share will have full control to edit or delete files or even add the shared folders shortcut to their own My Files OneDrive. This lets them keep the folder alongside their own folders and items, easily move items between folders, and more easily work on it offline. Any updates they make sync with the shared folder, so everyone with access to the folder is up to date.

1.  Browse to your SUNYOrange WEB OneDrive and log in using your MySUNYOrange account if prompted.

3. Click on the circle to the left of the item to select the folder or file that you want to share.
