Transferring files to OneDrive from your computer or USB Thumb Drive

1. Browse to ​​​​​​your SUNY Orange OneDrive Web and log in using your MySUNYOrange account if prompted.

2. Click on the "My Files" link on the left sidebar.  This is your personal OneDrive for your sunyorange account.

3. Here, you can either drag and drop files from your computer or USB drive(s) into the OneDrive window or click the "Upload" button to select files from your computer that you want to transfer / upload.

This process allows you to store your files in OneDrive for easy access anywhere connected to the Internet and sharing with others. For larger or department-related files, make sure you are aware of the storage limitations: personal OneDrive has a limit of 50GB, while department General OneDrive Share are has a limit of 100GB.

Transferring files to OneDrive from Campus Network Drives (H, S, P)

**you must be physically on campus to access network drives***

1 Navigate to Windows File Explorer by clicking on the folder icon on the windows task bar.

2. On the left navigation menu,  expand “This PC” branch and select the desired drive or network folder that you would like to upload to one drive.

2. Browse to ​​​​​​your SUNY Orange OneDrive Web to access OneDrive online.

3. One Drive will open to your personal One Drive space called "My Files" – If you need to transfer to your Department Share General OneDrive, you can select your department on the right menu quick access section.

4. With both file explorer and onedrive web windows open you can drag and drop or cut and paste from the Network Drive Folder(s) (H, S, or P drive) to One Drive Web.

**Be aware of the storage limitations: personal OneDrive has a limit of 50GB, while department General OneDrive Share are has a limit of 100GB.
