Laptop LID behavior: Change what closing the LID does, Windows Setting

This is a Windows 11 guide on how to configure your laptop so that when the laptop lid closes, it displays to the connected monitor(s) and does not go into sleep mode.

1. In the Windows 11 Search Box located on the bottom left of your Windows Taskbar type in "lid."

2. Under "best match," left click to select "Change what closing the lid does."

3. A system settings window will open and you will see a section for "When I close the lid."

4. Select the drop down menu under "On battery" and select "Do Nothing."

5. Select the drop down menu under "Plugged in" and select "Do Nothing."

6. Last step is to select "Save Changes" located on the bottom of the window.
