Banner Error - Invalid username/password; Logon Denied

When attempting to access Banner you may get the following error: 
Invalid user name/password; Log on Denied.

This is usually caused by the preset Banner/MySUNYOrange timeout of 15 minutes that one of your browser tabs might have experienced. 

To resolve, simply close ALL tabs of your web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc...).  Then re-launch your web browser, login to MySUNYOrange and attempt to access Banner again.

If you are still receiving the above error after re-launching and you are using the CHROME Browser,  you can try the following steps :

Clear all cookies/cache browser history, (See Clearing Cache Article if you need help)

Then close the CHROME browser, (ALL TABS) - re-launch Chrome and please try to register for classes again - to confirm it is working.

If that doesn’t work you can try the following procedure.

In Chrome address bar at the top, paste the following and press the Enter key:

chrome://settings/cookies

The following screen will show Cookie Options.

You will need to select "Allow third party cookies" or "Allow all cookies" (depending on your version)

Then close the CHROME browser, (ALL TABS) - re launch Chrome and try accessing Banner again- to confirm it is working.

Alternatively, you can attempt in a different browser - like Firefox OR Edge.
