How do I check my Voicemail?
Preferred Method: Browse to https://phone.sunyorange.edu/, log in with MySUNYOrange credentials,
then select Messages across the top in the menu. Any new or saved messages will be available here to manage.

Physical Phone Method: Use a physical phone to check your voicemail. A RED led light will light up indicating you have new voicemails.
This method requires your PIN # - (this is different /separate from your password)
What is my Voicemail PIN?
- This is something you may have setup when you initially activated your account. (6-10 Digits)
- It allows you to check your voicemail from a PHYSICAL phone device.
- It is NOT needed to check your voicemail if you use the Avaya SOFTPHONE or at https://phone.sunyorange.edu/
How do I Setup / Reset my Voicemail PIN #?
Browse to https://phone.sunyorange.edu/ and login with your MySUNYOrange credentials.
- Across the top menu, Click Settings > then Phone .
- Scroll down to the Voicemail settings section, click Voicemail PIN.
- In the New PIN field, type a numeric PIN # that you will remember. It MUST be 6-10 Digits long
- In the Re-enter new PIN field, type the PIN # again.
- Click Save.
**You may receive a security notification email from Avaya Cloud Office letting you know that your PIN was changed.
How do I record a custom voicemail greeting?
Browse to https://phone.sunyorange.edu/ and login with your MySUNYOrange credentials.
- Across the top menu, Click Settings > then Phone .
- Scroll down to the Voicemail settings section, click Voicemail Greeting.
- Change the drop down from Default TO Custom greeting.
- Click the round red RECORD button to record a new custom greeting.
You can play it back and/or re-record until you are satisfied with your custom greeting.
- Click the upload arrow to enable your new custom greeting that you just recorded.
- Click Save.
How to setup VOICE TO TEXT email whenever I get a new voicemail?
Browse to https://phone.sunyorange.edu/ and login with your MySUNYOrange credentials.
- Across the top menu, Click Settings > then Phone .
- Scroll down to the Voicemail settings section, find the Voicemail to text section.
- Set the "Voicemail to text" toggle to the "on" position (slide to the right). This will ensure that you receive an email with a transcription.

How do I check VOICEMAIL remotely from another phone:
- Call the extension / phone number of the voicemail you want to access
- As soon as you hear ringing, press the star key [*]
- Enter the Voicemail PIN followed by [#] sign -
- Follow voice prompts for voicemail access
